Over the years, working with both clients and back end developers I have found my self to be a translator. I think many UI/UX designers find them selves as the middle man of communication between the technically challenged and the extreme techies. Because of this position I have had to explain to my back end developers what kind of app the client is inquiring. This was accomplished by a long descriptive email regarding the apps function and normally at this point there was no real need to explain that much detail to the team.

I had probably looked up how to describe a specific type of app or app category more then 20 times. Coming up with answers, but much too specific.

So I decided I would take a chance. I am tempting to put all apps in too a total of 4 categories. Not sure if it truely incompasses all app consepts that are imaginable to man. But it seems to cover all that have crossed my mind so far.  Well here they are.
